Summer Readings

Since we have been in Australia I have read several books, some good, some not so good :)

My favorites have been books by Tori Spelling, sTori Telling and Mommywood! She has a few others but since my Kindle Fire pooped out and I can't find them at any book store here, I haven't got to read them : /  If you don't like her, you won't like these books.

The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul by Deborah Rodriquez is another one I read.  It was actually pretty good and I went into this book with zero expectations.  I grabbed it at the airport right before we boarded our flight to Bali, yes I judged a book by its cover and it payed off :)   It's about 5 different women with different stories who all meet and become friends at the coffee shop!

The next one I read was TheVilla Girls by Nicky Pellegrimo.  Didn't love this one... it took way too long to get interesting and even the interesting parts were lame. Definitely boring.  It's about a girl who looses her family, makes some friends who take vacations together and one of them falls in love.

The next 2 books I read are by Sophie Kinsella ( I know my sister will roll her eyes at these lol ) The first was the last book of the Shopaholic Series, Mini Shopaholic .  I started this series a million years ago and really enjoy them.  There are 6 books in the series and the first book was made into a movie.  Don't watch the movie it's total crap but anyways the first 3 are the best and they are all really easy reads and dorky... but fun :)  The second book was I've Got Your Number, it was ok, not one of my favorites by her but still enjoyable.  All her books make for an easy read and are all silly, so if you want something that will make you smile and occasionally laugh out loud I recommend them.  I've Got Your Number is about a girl who looses her engagement ring and her phone in the same day and then finds a phone in the trash and starts to use it.  The phone belongs to a busy business man and they end up having to work together.

Next on my list is Little Women and then Pride and Prejudice ! I am really excited to read them and hope they are as wonderful as everyone says !!
