4 Months

Holy moly, it's hard to believe that we have been here 4 months ! I am really enjoying my time here even though the weather likes to tease me with 80 degrees and then drop back down to 65!

While we've been here I have got to do a lot of reading! I decided while I am on this reading kick, I should probably attempt to read some classics.  I bought Little Women and Pride and Prejudice, I hope I like them!! I will post about the other books I've read soon ! Still sad that my Kindle Fire melted...RIP

I have also been watching some new TV shows.  Luke and I really love watching Newsroom with Jeff Daniels (Harry from Dumb and Dumber) it's so different from anything I watch plus the language is tolerable and it's not full of naked women running around and other inappropriate things !  I feel like I am turning into such an old lady when it comes to things like that but I suppose it is a good thing   :) Another good one is Homeland, the storyline is great and Clair Danes is an amazing actress !! I've only seen about 3 episodes but I'm hooked.  Tia and Tamera is the other one LOL I love them so much!! They are both so funny and I'm sad I will miss the beginning of the next season . I think I've said this before but the majority of the shows are a season behind so we will be playing catch-up with all of them.

There are still days when I walk to the wrong side of car... I don't if I'll ever get used to that, well that is until I get home lol

My cooking skills are still improving, tonight I made some pretty tasty meatloaf with mashed potatoes and carrots, too bad Luke couldn't eat to much of it. I also found a recipe on Pinterest for mexi-chicken, it's sooo good.  I have made it 3 times already lol It's so easy, all you do is poor a packet of taco seasoning in a zip-lock bag add some cumin and chili powder, put your chicken in the bag, shack it up real good, then place your chicken on a baking sheet, bake for 25 minutes, and top with salsa and sour cream...mmm  :) For lunch one day I made the mexi-chicken, and put it in a salad with fat free ranch... too bad the ranch taste like crap, otherwise I think it would be really good.  I need to introduce the Aussie's to Hidden Valley lol  I also need to introduce them into wearing sports bras, shoes in public such as grocery stores and restaurants, and the term excuse me, but that's for a whole other blog ;)

Sorry for no pictures, I have been lacking in picture taking department... I'll be better I promise :)
