The Life of a Cavetree: 8 months

Today is Lucille's 8 month birthday !! 7 months was quite the adventurous and fun month for us! I finally got a momma out of her, woohooo! She is also waving, saying bye-bye, fake coughing and sneezing, and she is standing up on her own!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw her just stand up like it was no big deal. The look on her face was priceless, she was very proud of herself .

This girl is SO BUSY, it is absolutely impossible to keep her still. Just when I think I have the apartment baby proofed, she proves me wrong lol Her favorite thing to do is play in the dog's water bowl... she is fascinated by it. She's also set her eyes on the litter box, ew I know!! Luckily she hasn't put her hands in it yet ( that i know of :/ ) but she is determined!

So far we haven't had any issues with food. Bananas are her new favorite :) Last night I introduced her to 2nd stage food and we tried chicken and vegetables, she seemed to really like it !!

No teeth yet, it doesn't even look like they are about break thru either. I hope something happens soon, she seems pretty miserable. I am so ready for her sleep schedule to get back to normal, I think teething has played a big part in her waking up at random hours of the night. The time change hasn't helped much either.

Our first time at the park :) She loves to swing. The smile on her face was pure joy <3
