Sweet Baby of Mine

In less than a week my precious lady bug will be 1 year old! Time went by so fast but it has be an absolute blessing to be able to watch her learn and grow every single day.  Luke and I fall in love her with more and more as each day passes.  From day one she has had quite the personality and it shows in her facial expressions, I love to watch her move those eyebrows LOL We are so thankful that God choose us to be the parents of this incredible, beautiful, and brilliant little lady :)

July 31st, my last belly picture, on my way to Chipotle for my last meal before checking into the hospital to be induced <3 41 weeks and 5 days prego! Due date was July 19th!

Summer Fun !!

On July 19th, we decided it would be the perfect summer day to take Lucy to the Dallas Zoo ! This was her first time there and I think she had an awesome time! It was pretty crowded but we didn't realize that Tom Petty was there to perform plus it happened to be a very rare 80 degrees outside :) We took her to the Australian Exhibit to see they koalas and kangaroos... unfortunately you can't pet them or feed them like we were able to in Perth ! We also got to here the lion roar several times which was so cool...the lions have always been my favorite !

11 months !

In one month we will be celebrating Lucy's 1st birthday!!! I probably should already have this party planned but I don't and I probably won't until a week before lol

I think we have another tooth coming thru !! For the most part, she does pretty good and doesn't fuss but there are definitely times where you know she is hurting :/ So far her Gummy Stick seems to be the most soothing... pretty clever little teether!

Lucy loves for us to read her books and her current favorite is Where is Baby's Belly Button. I swear we will read that book 10 times in a row :)

She also LOVES the swimming ! We took her to the pool for the first time Saturday and she had a blast. Thanks to Uncle Josh and Auntie Katie for playing in the water with her! Water was too cold for me !!

She has also starting dancing ! She's got some pretty good dance moves too ;)  Every time I try to get it on camera she stops... she always knows when I have the camera out haha!

June 11th, Lucy and I got to treat Luke to his very first Father's Day !! We started out the morning by baking him his favorite orange cinamon rolls and oranje juice with extra pulp (ick) and then suprised him with some new Dallas cowboy gear :) I think it was a pretty good day overall !
