Lucy's First Easter !!

This year Easter was extra special because it was Lucy's first :) The Saturday before my family and I drove to East Texas to spend the day with my Granny ! Lucy loves going to see her Great Granny and I love watching them together!! My favorite part of the day was watching them play peek-a-boo together <3

On Easter day we started the morning out by going to church service and as always it was great! I'm so glad I got brave and started taking Lucy to the church daycare because she loves it !! After church we stopped by Wally World so I could grab Lucy some formula and this is where I take my nasty fall lol As I was walking out into the parking lot, I eat the concrete hard! What did I trip over or slip on you might ask, well.... nothing... I just fell because I'm that graceful :) My knees where a bloody mess and I scrapped the polish right off my toes!! I'm just so incredibly thankful I wasn't carrying Lucy. After running back to the apartment to get me some flip flops, we finally made to my Granny' s and we ate an awesome lunch and spent the day catching up the family ! At some point in the day my dress ripped too ...right in boob area lol Oh well, makes for a memorable Easter and at least Lucy looked cute and the day was spent with loved ones :) 

9 months!

My baby is 9 stinkin months old, I can't even wrap my head around the fact that in just a few shorts months we will be celebrating her very first birthday... I could cry right now... ok maybe I already am... Time is going by so quick. I know that's really annoying to read and hear all the time but it's true, time is flying. It's truly amazing how much she has changed <3

STILL NO TEETH! Yea you read that right, not one tooth! I think she is teething all the time and I swear up and down that I see something breaking thru but obviously I'm wrong lol I can't help but think what if she doesn't ever get teeth?? Can that happen...what would we do, would she get a set of baby dentures and then adult ones? I need to look this up... I went to the dentist last week and the hygienist asked me how many teeth she had and when I told her none she immediately said " Don't panic, she will get them" with the most unconvincing face ever... ugh

Our sleeping schedule has finally got back on track !  (knock on wood) It is quite nice not having to get up at midnight and 3 am :) But now that she is sleeping later, I have decided that the only time I will ever have time to work out is 5 am. We will see how this goes... I've been attempting this for  a week and it hasn't happened !

No new words,  my mom swears she says meow meow to the cat and also says kitty kitty but I haven't heard it.  If I haven't heard it then it doesn't count ; ) lol

I came home from work the other night and Luke informed me she took a step and I immediately started crying because I missed it lol He then said it was just with one foot so I wasn't quite as sad ! I feel like she could take off any day now. She's got a good stance and can balance for a really long time.  She cruses around with her walker all the time and walks along the edge of the couch !

In my last post I mentioned her love for the dogs water bowl and the cat's litter box well, she made to the litter box :( She got a whole big handful of it and was very proud of herself!! : 0

A couple weeks ago, Stonebriar Mall re-opened the Disney store and Mickey and Minnie were there! We missed Mickey but were able to catch a glimpse of Minnie.  I so wish I had video of her seeing her for the first time.  Lucy was so excited, she was squealing, smiling, and kicking her legs! Luke was holding her and said her little heart was beating so fast! The line was to long to get her picture taken with her but we watched from the side and Minnie turned to wave at her, it was sweet :)

Last weekend we got to take Lucy to her first two birthday parties ! The first one was for her cousin Talon's first birthday and the second was for her Aunt Katie's 5 th birthday party ! She had a blast : )
