Dallas Zoo!

Today, Luke and I decided to take a trip to the Dallas Zoo to test out our new camera !! We splurged on our birthdays and bought us a Sony Alpha Nex 5N and I have to say it's pretty amazing. We also knew it would come in pretty handy on our Aussie adventure. To our surprise, the zoo opened up a new Koala Bear exhibit and has a small Australian animal section! The Koala's were precious and it just makes me that more excited for what lies ahead : D

Packing Up

Yesterday I started packing up our first home together, made me a little sad but I am so excited for the adventure that lies ahead <3 Here are a couple pics of our apartment <3

Exciting News

Back in January, my husband and I received some amazing news... Luke was chosen by his company to do some training in western Australia AND that they were letting me tag along! We will hopefully be leaving at the end of May and will be spending 3 months in Perth and 3 months in Newman.  Both will be completely different experiences and I am stoked for both !! The only thing I am not so crazy about is the 20 plus hour flight LOL

Committing

Today I am committing to my blog, I have posted and deleted many times, but today is the day I officially become a blogger and stick to it!!! 


A little background info...


My husband and I met back in 2008, thanks to my wonderful cousin Emily. She introduced us at a bonfire and the rest is history! Thank you Emily :) We were married on 9.2.11 and our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect <3 We have two babies, Truck our dog who is around 6 years old and Sadie our cat who is almost 3 ! We are truly grateful for our many blessings in life.
